Instructions:
Clean and wash the chicken or lamb well.
Make deep cuts all over the meat using a sharp knife.
In a mixing bowl, combine yogurt, ginger-garlic paste, red chili powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, garam masala powder, turmeric powder, salt, lemon juice, and oil. Mix well to make a marinade.
Apply the marinade all over the chicken or lamb, making sure to get the marinade inside the cuts.
Cover and refrigerate for at least 6 hours or overnight.
Preheat the oven to 350°F.
In a mixing bowl, mix cooked rice, chopped onion, chopped coriander leaves, chopped mint leaves, salt, and oil. Mix well to make the stuffing.
Stuff the chicken or lamb with the prepared stuffing.
Place the chicken or lamb on a roasting tray and roast in the preheated oven for about 2-3 hours, or until the meat is tender and fully cooked.
Baste the chicken or lamb with the marinade every 20-30 minutes while roasting.
Once the meat is fully cooked, remove from the oven and let it rest for a few minutes.
Serve hot with naan bread, raita, and salad.
Enjoy your delicious and succulent Sajji!
