Zinger burger is a popular fast-food dish that consists of a crispy fried chicken patty, topped with lettuce, mayonnaise, and other condiments, served on a soft bun. Here is a recipe to make a zinger burger:

Ingredients:

  1. 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  2. 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  3. 1 tsp garlic powder
  4. 1 tsp onion powder
  5. 1 tsp smoked paprika
  6. 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
  7. 1/2 tsp salt
  8. 1/2 tsp black pepper
  9. 1/2 cup buttermilk
  10. 1 egg
  11. 1 tbsp. hot sauce
  12. Vegetable oil, for frying
  13. 4 soft hamburger buns
  14. Lettuce leaves
  15. Sliced tomato
  16. Mayonnaise

 Instructions:

Cut the chicken breasts into two equal-sized pieces, and then use a meat mallet to pound them until they are about 1/2 inch thick.

In a shallow dish, mix together the flour, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, cayenne pepper, salt, and black pepper.

In another shallow dish, whisk together the buttermilk, egg, and hot sauce.

Dip each chicken piece first in the flour mixture, then in the buttermilk mixture, and then back in the flour mixture. Shake off any excess flour.

Heat the vegetable oil in a deep frying pan over medium-high heat until it reaches 350°F.

Fry the chicken for 6-8 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through.

Drain the chicken on paper towels to remove any excess oil.

To assemble the burgers, spread some mayonnaise on the bottom bun, top it with a lettuce leaf and a slice of tomato.

Place a chicken patty on top of the tomato slice, then add another lettuce leaf and a dollop of mayonnaise on the top bun.

Serve the zinger burger immediately, while it's still warm and crispy. Enjoy!
