Bun Kebab is a popular street food in South Asia. Here's a recipe for making it at home:

Ingredients:

  1. 500g ground beef or lamb
  2. 1 onion, finely chopped
  3. 2-3 green chilies, finely chopped
  4. 2 tsp ginger paste
  5. 2 tsp garlic paste
  6. 1 tsp cumin powder
  7. 1 tsp coriander powder
  8. 1 tsp red chili powder
  9. Salt to taste
  10. Oil for frying
  11. 4 burger buns
  12. Lettuce leaves
  13. Tomato slices
  14. Onion slices
  15. Ketchup and/or chutney (optional)

Instructions:

In a mixing bowl, combine ground beef or lamb, onion, green chilies, ginger paste, garlic paste, cumin powder, coriander powder, red chili powder, and salt to taste. Mix well and let it marinate for at least 30 minutes.

Heat oil in a pan and shape the meat mixture into small patties. Fry them until browned and cooked through, about 3-4 minutes per side.

Cut the burger buns in half and toast them lightly on a griddle or in the oven.

Assemble the bun kebab by placing a lettuce leaf, tomato slice, and onion slice on the bottom half of the bun. Place a kebab patty on top, and add ketchup and/or chutney if desired. Cover with the top half of the bun.

Serve hot with extra chutney or ketchup on the side, if desired.

Enjoy your homemade bun kebab!
