Ingredients:

  1. 500g boneless chicken, cut into small pieces
  2. 1 cup yogurt
  3. 1 cup cream
  4. 2 onions, finely chopped
  5. 2 tomatoes, chopped
  6. 1 tablespoon ginger paste
  7. 1 tablespoon garlic paste
  8. 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
  9. 1 teaspoon coriander powder
  10. 1 teaspoon garam masala powder
  11. Salt to taste
  12. Oil for cooking
  13. Fresh coriander leaves for garnishing


Instructions:

In a bowl, mix together yogurt and cream. Set aside.

Heat oil in a karhai or wok over medium-high heat. Add cumin seeds and let them splutter.

Add onions and sauté until they turn translucent.

Add ginger and garlic paste and sauté for 1-2 minutes until the raw smell disappears.

Add chopped tomatoes and cook until they turn mushy.

Add coriander powder, garam masala powder, and salt to taste. Mix well.

Add chicken and mix well. Cover and cook for 10-15 minutes until the chicken is cooked through.

Add the yogurt and cream mixture and mix well. Cook for another 5-7 minutes until the sauce thickens and the chicken is well coated.

Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot with naan or rice.
