Here's a simple recipe for making a beef burger:

Ingredients:

  1. 1 lb. ground beef (80/20 blend)
  2. 1 teaspoon salt
  3. 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  4. 4 hamburger bun
  5. Optional toppings: cheese, lettuce, tomato, onion, ketchup, mustard, mayo

Instructions:

Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat.

In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.

Divide the beef mixture into 4 equal portions and shape them into patties. Make sure the patties are slightly larger than the buns, as they will shrink when cooking.

Grill or cook the patties on the skillet for 3-4 minutes on each side, or until cooked to your desired level of doneness.

If using cheese, add it to the patties during the last minute of cooking, allowing it to melt.

While the patties are cooking, toast the hamburger buns on the grill or in the skillet until lightly browned.

Assemble the burger by placing the cooked patty on the bottom half of the bun. Add your desired toppings, such as lettuce, tomato, onion, ketchup, mustard, and mayo. Top with the other half of the bun.

Serve immediately and enjoy your homemade beef burger!
